V. Officer Reports

1. President (Sean O’Brien): It’s great to learn interesting facts about all of you tonight. We are working hard on Care to Share. Thank you Kelly for working so hard on the Website. Welcome everybody to SGA Executive Cabinet.

2. Vice-President (Ashley Davis): I have my parliamentarian and secretary approved and appointed. Tomorrow, Mary and I will meet with Dean Rucker. Senate has begun Constitutional Review and the D.U.C.C. is close to being finished. The Athletic Director made a presentation for the new athletic center scheduled to be finished 2010.

3. JRB (Nicolas Perilla): Our “Drench the Bench” event with the Honor Council went very well today. A lot of people turned out for the event, we gave away $1,200 worth of food. Students also learned about Mary Washington’s judicial and honor processes.

4. Honor Council (Quincey Garcia): We had a very successful event today with the JRB. It was a lot of fun, very productive.

5. LAC (Mary Wagoner): At 9:00, Stephen Jones of Virginia 21 is coming to speak to the College Republicans and LAC. Anyone else who is interested in politics is welcome to come to this non-partisan event. On Monday April 21st, LAC is sponsoring a Fredericksburg Mayoral Debate at 7:30 p.m. Stephen J. Farnsworth will be moderating. Please come to the event as we are trying to gain more student presence to show the community that we matter! Everyone knows the city doesn’t like us that much.

6. AAC (Colin Turner): I don’t have a report but I need my Vice-Chair to schedule a meeting with me after we’re done.

7. CSA (Anum Shaikh): Our last Muffin Breakfast went very well. We elected a CSA Board this week as well.

8. ARH (Amanda Russell): I’m currently working on the Care To Share BBQ. I would appreciate replies to my emails. If anyone wants to help out, that would be great. We had Hall Council president elections this past week as well.

9. Executive Coordinator (Kasey Walker): There are no more events for the rest of the year. We had a high attendance rate to the transition ceremony this year, be prepared for Homecoming.

10. Press Secretary (J.T. Newcomb): I sent a press release to The Bullet letting them know a new SGA has been installed. We will find out tomorrow if no news is good news.

11. Treasurer (Stephen Pierce): I doubt my transition is going to happen, so I’m setting up a meeting with Hilda. Give me a call if you need help with anything having to do with finance. If anyone has any personal problems and they need someone to talk to, you can come to me. We are going to have an SGA dinner at my house sometime before the semester ends. I’ll send out an email with dates and times so we can have a fun bonding experience.

13. Secretary (Christina Giaimo): Transition Ceremony was great. The website looks great.
